What kind of remote do I need?
Any cheap Bluetooth selfie remote that pairs as a camera shutter. We recommend a 2-button model — one button per team — for the easiest scoring experience. Single-button models also work; taps map to scoring actions.
What else do I need courtside?
For the full hands-free experience: a Bluetooth speaker so the whole court can hear, and a phone or tablet clamp/mount so you can fix your device to a fence post or court divider, like a courtside scoreboard. Neither is required — Rallyo works with your phone’s built-in speaker too — but together they make the experience feel properly umpired.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The free tier is fully offline. On Pro, premium cloud voices need a connection the first time a phrase is heard; after that they’re cached on your device and play offline.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, so you can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. The 7-day yearly trial cancels there too.
Where is my match data stored?
On your device. Match history, settings, and player names never leave your phone. See our privacy policy for full detail.
Can I use it for tournaments?
Yes. Tournament format with proper best-of-3 sets, tie-breaks, and configurable rules is part of Pro. Court-side speaker output keeps everyone in sync.
